Ms Alianne Jade Rance

Alianne is a research officer within RMIT’s Centre for Urban Research (CUR) and also has a marketing and communications role within the Centre.

 

Alianne specialises in climate change and managing the unavoidable: climate change adaptation. She has worked in this field in both a research and consulting capacity for a number of years. Taking a keen interest in science communication, she has undertaken professional media and communications training through the Climate Council as a Climate Fellow.

Alianne’s PhD research focuses on considerations of climate risk in property development and has worked in the property sector in varying capacities for over five years. She also holds a passion for all things sustainability and the organisational change required to incorporate sustainable practice in the public and private sector.

Alianne has undertaken media and communications training through an invited position with the Climate Council as a Climate Fellow.
