Understanding prevalence and demography of long-term energy hardship via analysis of the Household, Income and Labour Dynamics longitudinal dataset.

  • Project dates: 2018–2019

RMIT researchers are using the Household, Income and Labour Dynamics longitudinal dataset to examine the prevalence and persistence of key indicators of energy hardship, and identify the key characteristics of affected households.

The project supports the Victorian Council of Social Service (VCOSS)’ policy and advocacy strategy development and findings will inform new policy recommendations to address long-term energy hardship in Australia.
