Watch Gordon Price’s seminar below.

Vancouver has an enviable transport system with some of the highest public transport ridership and carshare use in North America. Its successes have been in part underpinned by an effective and collaborative model involving transport agencies and local government, and communities.

Gordon Price, a long time Vancouver City councillor and commentator on urban issues, will share some of the cornerstones of transport success in Vancouver, and delve into his new area of focus, speculating on the era of new mobility, we are heading into. Gordon will explore the impact of new technologies on transport, and how they are shaping our cities.

His talk will provoke us to consider how our lives are already changing and what’s possible in the future. This will offer some important lessons for Melbourne’s transport challenges in the 2020s.
