Paul Mees Debate 2016

Join the RMIT Centre for Urban Research and School of Global, Urban and Social Studies for a critical and jovial debate to honour one of Australia’s foremost transport advocates and planning scholars, Dr Paul Mees OAM, and his contribution to local and international urban transport and planning.

Our panel of planning industry professionals, politicians and academics will debate the topic: Should planners be dreamers or doers?

Special guest panelists include founder of SGS Economics and Planning Marcus Spiller;  Urban Geography and Planning ARC Future Fellow Dr Kate Shaw; and Emeritus Professor Graeme Davison, Councillor Cathy Oke, City of Melbourne, and Professor Jago Dodson, Director of the RMIT Centre for Urban Research.
