Effective rail services are vital for the future of the entire Geelong Region and the City of Wyndham. Decisions taken now will determine whether your rail services get better or worse, well into the future.

The Deakin University School of Architecture and Built Environment and the RMIT Centre for Urban Research are collaborating for a panel discussion to address the key strategic issues for future rail travel – frequency, travel times, access, parking, regional and metro rail and bus connections, reliability and comfort.

Panellists will provide an independent perspective on these issues, explain the emerging trends and detail practical short term, medium and longer term solutions that the State Government could and should adopt to ensure that the Geelong Region and Wyndham can cope with population growth and changing travel preferences.
