Desmond holds a Master of Philosophy (Planning) from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, 2022.
His PhD research explores the role of the urban poor in improving the liveability of settlements in a West African City. Desmond’s work extends into the development of spatial management tools, green infrastructure, and safeguarding green spaces to facilitate climate change adaptation. Before his doctoral studies, he served in various planning institutions, where he applied his skills in practical settings to drive urban and regional development in Ghana.
