Roberta Esbitt

Roberta’s research examines the integration of direct access to mortgage finance through a real estate search platform.

Roberta is an international architect, property developer and lecturer with a special interest in residential property markets.

She has a B. Arch. from Cornell University and an M. Bus (Property) from RMIT, and was sessional lecturer at RMIT for almost a decade. She has extensive professional property experience in the private sector, and was architect for the European Commission.

Her research seeks to better understand the motivations, influences and financial susceptibility of Australian homebuyer/borrowers, in the context of high housing prices and household debt in Australia.
