Roshan has a background in forestry and natural resources management and has worked in policy and science interface in international development organisations like UNFCCC, German Development Institute, and CIFOR.
He is interested in analysing and modelling land cover changes, satellite remote sensing, and biodiversity conservation science, and addressing environmental problems using remote sensing and GIS tools.
For his PhD, Roshan is evaluating the conservation intervention impacts using spatial data and models.
