I am a PhD candidate at the Centre for Urban Research, RMIT University. I also hold a Bachelor of Science (Honours in Statistics) from the University of Sri Jayewardenepura, Sri Lanka, and a Master of Statistical Science from La Trobe University, Australia. My research experience includes working as an intern data analyst at Baker Heart and Diabetes Institute, and I have experience working as a business analyst for a company.
Currently, I am researching the longitudinal effect of the built environment on walking, with a focus on differences in the effect for men and women, as well as for working-aged and older adults.
