Anwyn Hocking

Anwyn is a Vice-Chancellor's PhD scholar within the Centre for Urban Research.

She examines dominant narratives driving climate adaptation on the unceded lands of Naarm through the case of the 2022 Maribyrnong River floods, and the transformative justice potentials of counter-adaptation practices. Within and beyond academia, Anwyn is also interested in creative modes of collective care, knowledge creation and sharing. Anwyn holds a Bachelor of Environments (Architecture) from the University of Melbourne and an MPhil in Architecture and Urban Studies from the University of Cambridge.
