Anthony is Lecturer in the School of Global, Urban and Social Studies.

Anthony Kent is Program Manager and Lecturer in Sustainability and Urban Planning. Anthony researches on the spatial economy of cities, industrial clusters and regional economic change processes. He also specialises in urban planning processes in Indonesian cities and is a contributor to tertiary educational development in Indonesia. He is Associate Editor of Urban Policy and Research, the leading urbanist journal in Australia, New Zealand and South-East Asia. He has previously consulted for the Victorian Auditor General’s Office and the Knowledge Sector Initiative, Jakarta and was formerly Secretary for the UN-affiliated Eastern Regional Organisation for Planning and Human Settlements.
