James O’Mahony

I completed my education at University College Cork in Ireland, earning a bachelor's degree in Ecology and a master's degree in Geography.

Before moving to Australia, I worked as a research assistant in the Department of Geography at UCC, focusing on Spatial Ecology projects, and as a Field Ornithologist for an environmental consultancy. Since relocating to Australia, I have worked as a GIS assistant for The Nature Conservancy Australia and as a research assistant and tutor for both the Australian Urban Observatory and Geospatial Science, RMIT. My supervisors are Professor Melanie Davern, Dr Qian (Chayn)Sun and Dr Ascelin Gordon. Email: s4069928@student.rmit.edu.au
