Evan holds a Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch) and Master of Science in Human Settlement (MScHS) from Khulna University, Bangladesh. He has around three years of part-time and full-time teaching experience in two renowned public universities in Bangladesh. His previous research works focused on the socio-spatial integration of forcibly displaced ethnic minorities. He also has experience working on a government-funded research project in collaboration with Urban Development Directorate (UDD) in Bangladesh. Currently, he is conducting his PhD under the supervision of Vandra Harris Agisilaou, Wendy Steel, and Tuba Boz.
Evan is a PhD student investigating how ethnic minorities negotiate contested urban space.
