Brigid studied Architecture at the University of Melbourne and completed her Architecture internship in Paris.

She then moved to the South of France and began her career as a retail designer for Rip Curl Europe and then Global.

Over the past 20 years Brigid has focused on Retail Design and Development, for big Australian retailers. The roles included architectural and industrial design and project management. Her most recent role was at Mecca brands.

Brigid has always been passionate about the impact of good design on human experience and is thrilled to be studying the Master of Urban Planning and Environment at RMIT, and even more thrilled to have the opportunity to be doing it from within the Australian Urban Observatory (AUO).

Though a steep learning curve, she looks forward to applying her knowledge and sharing the wonderful AUO portal as a tool for shaping our cities for the better.
