Jacinta Humphrey

Jacinta is an ecologist who is continually looking for opportunities to enhance and create habitat for native wildlife in residential neighbourhoods, urban parks, schoolyards and private gardens.

She is currently working on Biodiversity Sensitive Urban Design in the ICON Science group.

Before joining RMIT University, Jacinta completed her PhD in Landscape and Conservation Ecology with the Research Centre for Future Landscapes at La Trobe University. Her research focused on the influence of urbanisation on the birds that share our suburbs.
