Pouya Molaei

Pouya Molaei is a PhD student in the Centre for Urban Research at RMIT, where he will be creating and testing urban indicators for age-friendly cities.

Pouya Molaei is a PhD student in the Centre for Urban Research and Social and Equity Research Centre at RMIT, where he will be examining and testing urban variables for ageing in place and promotion of physical health among older adults.

Pouya completed a Bachelor of Architecture at the University of Guilan and received his Master’s degree in Architectural Engineering from TIAU in Iran. He has a ten-year history working for a company and academic centres as a senior architect, research assistant, and teacher assistant. Pouya’s research interests include housing, ageing in place, healthy and walkable cities, residential mobility, and CPTED. His supervisors are Hannah Badland and Lucy Gunn.
