Shane is a PhD candidate exploring novel habitat design within aquatic environments. As a multidisciplinary designer with a background in education and the sciences, his research aims to address how degraded aquatic environments within urbanised areas can be regenerated through the application of design and ecology by introducing habitat complexity and addressing the novel assemblages of species driven by anthroprocentric change within these spaces.
